You won’t find anyone more excited about the draft beer industry than Rick Autery. His commitment to helping others pour the perfect pint shows in his daily interactions with his customers. Rick won’t leave the job until it’s done right. In addition to the commitment to the service team for AHFP, he is our problem solver and will help create the draft system of your dreams. Rick is a Cicerone Certified Beer server.
As a career hospitality professional, Mark saw the opportunity that the draft beer industry holds in 2010. A Head for Profits was created to improve the quality of draft beer that is served thus increasing sales and profits at the restaurant level. Through proper equipment servicing and cleaning along with employee training, draft beer can be served the way the brewmaster intended. Mark is extremely proud of the dedication that the AHFP team possess and the changes in thinking towards serving the best quality draft beer. Mark is a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America and has worked in all areas in the hospitality industry. Mark is senior partner in Sculpture Hospitality, is a history buff and loves the game of golf.
Mark Davis is a graduate of Lynchburg College who played both Basketball and Tennis. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting with a minor in Business Administration. Mark has worked in many restaurants from casual to fine dining. He has also owned restaurants, nightclubs and neighborhood bars. Mark has been Regional Director as well as Franchisee with Sculpture Hospitality since 1998. He has won numerous awards such as Top Regional of the Year, US Franchisee of the Year and Global Franchisee of the Year. Mark is married with 2 daughters. He likes to travel and play golf.
Director of National Sales
Bill is a native of Nashville and is the driving force behind the “consultative” and “best in the biz” nature of his entire sales staff. “Our sales team is well equipped to help our customers establish a profit center in their draft beer system from day one” Bill’s introduction to the draft beer service world came at the end of a cleaning brush (cleaning draft beer lines) where he learned this business from the inside of the cooler to his favorite place (where the beer comes out of the faucet). After spending a year in the trenches, Bill decided to purchase a portion of the company and put his 25 years of sales experience to work helping to grow A Head For Profits from a local Nashville company to a multi state regional corporation in just 3 years. Bill is helping A Head For Profits further expand its operations by gathering distributor partnerships and setting up sales teams in multiple markets. When Bill is not traveling the country on behalf of his company, he can be found at home with his wife Lisa and his son, Will.
Director of Training & Information
In his early 20’s Jeff developed an appreciation and passion for liquor, beer, and wine from his father and uncle. Jeff’s uncle, who worked for Moet/Hennessy, would always bring his brands when he came to visit and had a unique ability of breaking down how each product was made, the flavor profile and the history, which fascinated Jeff. As the Director of Training, Jeff turns his focus to quality draft beer. From designing the training program for all new A Head For Profits employees to talking with any bar owner, manager or bartender that will listen about the importance of serving the best tasting draft beer. Although an avid beer consumer, Jeff does not have a favorite go to beer style. He considers himself a “situational drinker.” In Jeff’s mind each situation calls for a different beer whether he is pairing a beer with food, had a tough day at office or just finished a hard run on a hot Nashville day; there’s a beer for every occasion. Jeff is a Cicerone Certified Beer server.
Director of Customer Relations
Katherine (Kat) is a graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. with a BS degree in Business Management. Kat and her husband have been Master Franchisors for Sculpture Hospitality since 1998 representing TN, NC & SC. Kat is married with 2 daughters and loves to play tennis and golf.
Regional Sales Manager
John started working with A Head For Profits early in 2013 and has been integral in helping grow new markets. Prior to working with us we knew John through his position in sales with Micros Systems. He possesses a great understanding of overall business operations in the hospitality industry and delivers that to his clients regularly. John enjoys the casual atmosphere, good company values, and dedication to “Serving the Perfect Pint” that we offer to our industry. In his spare time John enjoys his large family of 6 kids and fishing. John is a Cicerone Certified Beer server.
